BW31.1 Enterprise Resource Planning
This module is offered every second semester (starting in the winter semester).
Contents:
Modeling of integrated information systems and process modeling; application of business administration concepts in an enterprise resource planning system (ERP system), such as SAP®, as well as multidimensional analysis of corporate data in management information systems.
Learning and qualification objectives:
After successful participation, students are able to
- describe the possible applications of ERP systems in companies,
- explain and master the essential functionalities of ERP systems,
- describe and explain elements of modeling languages for representing business processes (e.g., EPC),
- interpret simple business process models, create them independently, and implement them in an ERP system.
Examination format:
Written examination (100%) during the examination period
