This path led me to a Bachelor's degree in Information and Management Sciences at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. To further deepen my knowledge, I subsequently completed a Master's degree in Business Informatics at the same university.
During my studies, I developed a special interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence, particularly in Neural Networks, Transformer architectures, and Large Language Models. My master's thesis, therefore, involved an in-depth evaluation of LLMs across various RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) configurations, with the goal of developing high-performance and locally deployable AI tutoring systems.
While Python is my preferred language, I also frequently use C++, TypeScript, and Java in my daily work. A selection of my projects is publicly available on my university GitLab profile (https://git.uni-jena.de/users/ji64vec/projects).
Currently, I am continuing my academic career as a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena. My research focuses on autonomous RAG systems. Parallel to my research, I also work as a software developer for OCR systems.
