Thuringia is increasingly developing into an innovation hub at the heart of Germany, with start-ups playing a central role. Despite a 7.4 percent increaseExternal link in business start-ups in 2023 compared to 2022, founders still see significant need for action in areas such as financing and deregulation.
Against this backdrop, Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Thuringia’s SPD state chairman and Minister of the Interior Georg Maier, State Secretary Carsten Feller, and Member of the Bundestag Holger Becker took part in the event “Start-up Thuringia” to answer questions from regional founders and entrepreneurs.
