Doctoral colloquia are part of the structured supervision of our doctoral students. In addition to the regular internal doctoral colloquia of the Chair of Business Taxation and Auditing, an inteterdiciplinary colloquium is held once a semester in the FAcT focus area de; this takes place in cooperation with the university chairs of Controlling (Prof. Dr Christian Lukas) and Accounting (Prof. Dr Bernd Hüfner). This university-wide colloquium serves in particular to present and critically and constructively discuss previous research results to a wider specialist audience; in addition, it contributes to the scientific exchange of information and experience between the doctoral students of the participating chairs.
Because togetherness is also important in addition to individual research, this colloquium is usually concluded with a joint leisure activity, e.g. a hike followed by a meal together.
