Every winter semester, a certification programme is offered in cooperation with Datev eG. The DATEV certificate is a training offer consisting of several modules. The registration modalities are determined at the beginning of each winter semester as part of the specialisation module Taxes.

Every year, students on the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have acquired in the chair's courses in various workshops run by large companies in the tax consulting and auditing industry. The topics of past workshops include, for example, the tax treatment of asset and share deals, international transfer prices or the preparation of annual financial statements from an auditor's perspective. Information on the workshops on offer can be found in advance in Moodle and in the courses offered by the chair.

The Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft supports the chair with workshops on topics such as “Audit and Assurance.” Excursions to the Tax Court in Leipzig were also organized, during which participants were able to attend public court hearings.

The Roser GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft Steuerberatungsgesellschaft supports the chair with workshops such as the “Roser Summer School,” which in the past has covered topics such as company acquisitions, due diligence, and company valuation.
