Participation in the Innovationspreis Thüringen in Weimar

The Chair of Business Dynamics, Innovation, and Economic Change took part in the Innovationspreis Thüringen 2025 on November 25 in Weimar, one of the most prestigious awards for technological and economic innovation in the region. This year's award categories – “Tradition & Zukunft“, “Industrie & Material“, “Digitales & Medien“, and  “Licht & Leben“, “Sonderpreis für junge Unternehmen“, “Publikumspreis“ and  “Ernst-Abbe-Preis“ – presented a broad spectrum of innovations ranging from industrial applications to digitally driven business models. From a scientific perspective, the award-winning projects offered exciting insights, particularly with regard to the further development of business models, innovation processes, and organizational transformation. For our chair, participation represents a valuable opportunity to directly observe current developments in the regional innovation system and integrate them into research and teaching. Furthermore, participation allowed deepening the connections to relevant stakeholders of the innovation system of Thuringia and beyond.
