Elisabeth Bethge

Short bio
Elisabeth Bethge graduated from Friedrich Schiller University Jena with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Business Administration with a study profile in Management, Strategy and Marketing. She wrote her master thesis on the topic of Impression Management in the context of business-orienteded social networks. Along with her academic education she worked as student assistant as part of the marketing team in international-operating organizations in Jena.
Before starting the bachelor's programme in 2014, she was part of the Junior German Assistant Programme and spent a year as a boarding and teaching assistant in Bangkok. During her Bachelor's degree, she spent two semesters as an exchange student at the University of College Cork as part of the ERASMUS programme. Elisabeth Bethge joined Mike Geppert‘s team at FSU in April 2021 as PhD student.

- Impact of digitalisation in the context of organisational environments e.g. computer-mediated comunication in online platforms
- Changes of work and employment in the context of the gig-economy
- Representation of MNCs on the internet e.g. corporate websites, search engine management, interaction on social media and other platforms
- Economic and behavioural approaches to human resource management (e.g. recource based-view, similarity attraction paradigma, theories of motivation, equity theory)
