In early May 2026, Prof. Dr. Matthias Menter and Emilie Holley visited the HEYE Research Center at the University of Bergamo as invited speakers in a research seminar series.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Matthias Menter presented the paper “The Role Identity of Technology Transfer Office Directors: Expectations, Enactments, and Violations” at the Department of Economics. Emilie Holley presented the paper “Reconfiguring University Business Models to Foster Social Impact: Strategies, Barriers, and Trade-Offs” at the Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering.
Both presentations addressed current research in the fields of higher education institutions, technology transfer, and social impact. The visit also provided an excellent opportunity to discuss ongoing research projects with colleagues at the University of Bergamo and to exchange ideas on future research collaborations and joint academic initiatives. The research topics were closely aligned with the scientific focus of the HEYE Research Center and contributed to valuable academic discussions during the seminar series.
