Welcome to the Team: Laurien Bordan Joins our Chair

We are delighted to welcome Laurien Bordan to our team at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.

Laurien recently joined us as a PhD candidate in Economics. She brings with her a strong academic background, having completed her Master of Science in Economics at FSU Jena. Her academic journey is complemented by valuable international experience, including time as a visiting student at Meiji University in Tokyo and the European University Cyprus.

Her research interests focus on gender and education—fields that are both highly relevant and impactful in today’s academic and societal landscape.

We are excited to have Laurien on board and look forward to working together. Welcome to the Team, Laurien!
