Paper Development Workshop in Switzerland

In March 2026, the University of Fribourg hosted a Paper Development Workshop (PDW) led by Prof. Eric Davoine from the Chair of Human Resources and Organization. The PDW was attended by Prof. Mike Geppert from the Chair of Strategic and International Management at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, as well as doctoral candidate Lena M. Fischer, who is currently undertaking a research fellowship at the University of Fribourg.

The workshop focused on discussions and feedback regarding an ongoing study on “The career paths of international employees”. The study examines how international employees build and leverage career capital such as international experience, networks, and specific skills throughout their careers.

The workshop provided valuable opportunities for discussion, feedback, and the further development of concepts, while highlighting the importance of international research collaboration and academic exchange.
